When the program has detected the connection, you need to enable the USB debugging on the Android phone. USB debugging is only a mode of connection of the Android device to the computer and does not cause any harm.
To enable the USB debugging on your Android phone, check the Android version of your device first or you can refer to the steps below:
For Android versions 4.2 and up
- Go to Settings from the phone’s home screen
- Find and tap ‘About Phone’
- Click on ‘Build Number’ seven times or until “You are under developer mode” appears
- Back to Settings
- Tap Developer Options
- Choose USB Debugging
For Android 4.1 below
- Go to Settings on the Android phone
- Tap Developer Options
- Tap USB debugging
Once the USB debugging has been enabled, click OK on the computer screen to continue to the next steps.
